PASSOVER-MODERN VERSION! By Herb Solomon
The Passover story actually started about 3000 years ago. At that time in history economic conditions were very bad. The market was down and unemployment had reached a new high. During this period a group of Hebrew families roamed the desert. They were looking for food, jobs and a permanent place to live. Their leader was a young man by the name of Joseph. One day, at the local water hole, Joseph picked up a copy of the Desert Tribune, the weekly newspaper. In the Travel Section he saw an ad placed by the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce. The ad stated that Egypt was not only a nice place to visit, it was a great place to live. There was a large amount of low cost housing available, many job opportunities as well as an abundance of food. So Joseph immediately called his travel agent and booked a first class Hertz camel caravan, for his entire group, and he led them to Egypt.
